Frequently Asked Questions 

Q: Is there an application process for Cupcakes?

A: No. There is no application process required to become a member of Texas A&M Cupcakes. We welcome anyone who has a love for baking and wants to join. Any student attending either Texas A&M or Blinn is eligible to join. 

Q: Do you only accept members in the fall?

A: No, we accept members both in the fall and spring semesters.​​​​

 

Q: How much time is required of members per semester?

A: Cupcakes is what you make of it. Attendance at our bi-weekly meetings is strongly encouraged but not required. Members are required to follow a point system each semester. 

 

Q: What if I can't attend everything?

A: Attendance at all Cupcakes events is encouraged, but not required. If you have a prior engagement or an unforeseen situation arises, members may be excused from attending. 

 

Q: How much are dues?

A: Dues are $15 a semester for new members and $10 for returning. Dues are paid at the beginning of each semester. 

 

Q: What is included in my dues?

A: Your dues cover our icing workshop, guest speakers, as well as other events and socials held throughout the semester. 

Q: How can I pay my dues?

A: You can either pay at one of our meetings or online at marketplace.tamu.edu and search "Cupcakes" to find our page.
